Introduction
Genuine, adult mission work is not a weekend cruise to an exotic locale, or a two-week furlough from problems at home. It's hard work; it's real sacrifice. It's a literal, unfeigned commitment to the goal of reaching the world for Jesus ~ the “Great Commission” of personal evangelism as set forth in the teachings of Jesus Christ, demonstrated by the obedience of His earliest disciples, and outlined by Paul the Apostle throughout his epistles in the New Testament.
True mission work requires the long-term investment of men, money and materials to move mountains and accomplish the nuts-and-bolts tasks of rebuilding individual lives and whole communities in ways that bring lasting change to the region, eternal salvation to as many as will receive it by faith, and glory and honor to the name of Jesus Christ.
Together with friends, we are sharing Christ Jesus with the world! We have been earnestly knocking on doors to make you and others aware of our intentions to go, minister in Africa. We are doing all we can within the measure of our physical and spiritual power to invite people to join with us in this important effort. We are searching for interested parties who have the faith to help with the initial effort and, even more, those who believe God wants them to go even further in expressing their faith in Christ and love for the lost.
God works through His people, and He will always bless faith!
It's the Spirit of God that makes the call and empowers His team for specific outreach and ministry. It's love for Jesus Christ and the lost that compels us to work together and obey His command to “go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)
